MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir are set to witness partly cloudy weather with light chilly winds blowing across the region, marking the beginning of the winter season.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), mainly dry weather is expected over most parts of the country, while cold in upper hilly areas during night and morning. Light rain/snow is expected at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Earlier, Azad Kashmir experienced the first snowfall of the season; the mountains in Leepa and Neelum Valley got covered in the thick white blanket of snow, heavy rainfall, and gusty winds paved the way for the winter season.
