MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) Elementary & Secondary Education Department has issued a notification on the violations of rules by some private educational institutions, indicating strict action.
According to the department, some institutions are not paying the officially fixed minimum wage to teachers and staff.
Despite collecting advance fees from parents, the students are not being taught as per the standards and are being used to hold and participate in a protest.

The notification has clarified that all private educational institutions should ensure payment of minimum wage to teachers and non-teaching staff, and not use students and teachers for personal interests.
Only the Education Department can declare holidays in the state.
The Education Department has issued a warning that immediate legal and administrative action will be taken against institutions violating the instructions.
