ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Cement prices registered a marginal decline in the average retail price in northern Pakistan cities, as per statistics released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
For the week ended September 11, northern Pakistan’s average retail price for a 50kg bag of cement was listed at Rs1,390, a 0.07 percent decline from last week’s price of Rs1,391 (week ended September 4).
Conversely, no variation in cement prices was observed in the southern cities, with the average retail price unchanged at Rs1,443 per bag for each of the two weeks.
