ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to the statement issued, President Erdogan expressed deep regret to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif over the recent floods.
The Turkish President also expressed solidarity with the loss of precious lives and property due to the devastating floods.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkiye is ready to provide all possible assistance in the relief operations.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif thanked the Turkish President for his offer of assistance in difficult times.
He said that this telephone call is a reflection of the strong, deep, and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkiye.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also said that the two countries have always stood by each other.
PM Shehbaz expressed gratitude to President Erdogan for his kind offer and assistance, saying it was a testament to the two countries’ close, historic, and fraternal connections.
The two presidents also talked about their upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit meeting.
