The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued instructions to the citizens to take precautionary measures.

According to the Meteorological Department, a Seasonal low lies over central Balochistan. Strong, moist currents from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal are continuously penetrating the southern parts of the country.

Widespread rain-wind/thundershower (with scattered heavyfalls at times very heavy) is expected in Sindh and northeast/South Balochistan. Hot and humid weather is expected in other parts of the country.

Earlier, SDMA issued a flood warning as the water from rain collected in the river, causing water levels to rise. Whereas the Prime Minister of AJK has ordered SDMA and rescue officials to remain alert during this difficult time.
