Adnan Aslam brings honour to Azad Kashmir by winning UAE civil award

SHARJAH/ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Adnan Aslam, a crane operator from Bhimber, Azad Kashmir, assisted Civil Defence personnel by promptly offering his services when a car caught fire in Sharjah, earning him a civil award.

Adnan Aslam, who hails from Chhamb, a suburban area of Bhimber, works as a crane operator in Sharjah.

When Civil Defence personnel sought his help, he immediately used his crane to assist, without regard for his own life, and helped the Civil Defence personnel extinguish the fire.

After extinguishing the fire, Adnan Aslam thanked the Civil Defence personnel and left. The officials were highly impressed by his humanitarian act.

According to reports from Gulf Today and Khaleej Urdu, Brigadier Yusuf Obaid Al Shamsi, Director General of Sharjah Civil Defence Authority, personally honoured Adnan for his brave and voluntary efforts and declared him an excellent person.

Civil Defence officials acknowledged that Adnan’s efforts helped reduce financial losses and prevented any loss of life.

Azad Kashmir man’s noble act

The statement said that Adnan’s quick and selfless action played a significant role in minimizing damage and assisting the emergency response team.

At the ceremony, Brigadier Al Shamsi praised Adnan’s bravery and quick thinking, emphasizing that his actions reflect public awareness and support for civil defence efforts.

While Adnan Aslam has won an award in the UAE, his action is also being lauded on social media.
