MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Professor Dr. Nasir Jamal Khattak has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK), Muzaffarabad, the AJK President’s Secretariat said in a statement.
The appointment was approved by the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and the University Chancellor, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry.
The decision was taken after the interviews of the top three candidates, as recommended by the Syndicate of UAJK, in order of merit.
The other two candidates were Professor Dr. Ayesha Sohail and Professor Dr. Muhammad Khan.
