TEHRAN (Kashmir English): Iran has told mediators Oman and Qatar that it would not enter into any negotiation for a ceasefire while it is under Israeli attack, an official briefed on the communications told a media outlet on Sunday, as the countries continued to launch attacks on each other.
“The Iranians informed Qatari and Omani mediators that they will only pursue serious negotiations once Iran has completed its response to the Israeli pre-emptive strikes,” said the official speaking on the condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the conflict.
Iran launches missiles towards Israel
According to latest reports, Iran has launched missiles towards Israel. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have said it identified missiles launched from Iran toward the Israel a short while ago.
“Defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat,” it said.
The military has instructed the public to enter protected spaces and remain there “until further notice”.
