MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The President of Azad Kashmir has approved a significant increase in ‘special allowance’ for officers and employees of the Civil Secretariat.
In a notification issued by the Finance Department, the allowance has been doubled from 50% to 100% of the existing monthly pay in the Basic Pay Scale 2022.
The notification stated that the decision was taken in accordance with the Azad Kashmir High Court verdict.
As per details, the increase will benefit all officers and employees of the Civil Secretariat, from Scale B-1 to B-22. The increase is expected to enhance the financial benefits for employees, improving their overall compensation package.
