ISLAMABAD: A famous TikToker and student, Sana Yousaf, was shot dead today at her residence in Islamabad’s G-13/1 sector, police confirmed.
As per details, the 17-year-old deceased, hailing from Upper Chitral, was found dead at her home in the jurisdiction of Sumbal Police Station.
Police said that a guest, who came to her residence, shot the victim twice and fled. The police have shifted the body to PIMS Hospital for postmortem and started an investigation.
The motive behind the shooting and the culprit are still unknown, police officials added.
Sana Yousaf has more than 450k followers on Instagram and more than 700k followers on TikTok with hundreds of thousands of views on her videos.
A similar case was reported in February this year, when two men shot dead their 20-year-old sister, who was a TikTok influencer, in the Chotala area in Jhelum.
Police said that both brothers decided to murder their sister, who was later identified as Ansa, after she ignored their warning and continued making TikTok videos.
