MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): In a move to ensure a secure environment, the Senior Home Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Col. (retd) Waqar Ahmed Noor, reviewed the security situation in the region, including the District Complex, the current security situation, and the situation along the Line of Control (LoC).
On this occasion, Senior Home Minister Col. (retd) Waqar Ahmed Noor, while talking to Deputy Commissioner Chaudhry Haq Nawaz, SSP Chaudhry Muhammad Amin, said that all police magistrates and institutions in the three tehsils should remain active during these difficult times.
Additionally, he directed that all government staff should be present, coordination of district and educational institutions, and security of public places should be monitored.
Moreover, Suspicious activities should be kept under control, checking on internal and external routes, and the implementation of the National Action Plan should be done. The Home Minister termed the overall situation satisfactory.
Furthermore, Col. Waqar Ahmed Noor said that the people across the state are united under the leadership of Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwarul Haq.
The people stand by the side of the armed forces of Pakistan. Pakistan’s defense is invincible. India’s face is exposed before the world. It has happened. India itself is involved in terrorism.
The minister accused India, stating that it got the tourists killed in Pahalgam, and the Indian media is spreading poisonous propaganda against Pakistan.
However, the entire nation will remain alert and destroy the enemy’s nefarious intentions.
Deputy Commissioner Bhimber Chaudhry Haq Nawaz said that in the context of the recent Indian terrorism, water aggression, and the situation arising after the killing of tourists in the Pahalgam area of occupied Kashmir by India, an important meeting was held recently, in which heads and representatives of various departments participated.
Steps have been taken to ensure the safety of the lives and property of the people. A strategy has been made to keep all life systems running normally along the LoC, including the safety of lives and property of citizens, health, infrastructure, livestock, and crops.
An action plan has also been prepared for the protection of educational institutions, basic health centers, and government property.
A plan has been prepared with the cooperation of public representatives and local government representatives at the local level regarding security and vigilance.
Water, electricity, food, uninterrupted supply of flour and commodities, supply of medicines, rescue, and other matters have been improved.
The control room and focal persons of all departments have been appointed. Transport, water and food reserves, washrooms, emergency buildings, tents, medicine stocks, and all other matters are on alert.
