MURREE (Kashmir English): Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan, and SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam’s convoy met with an accident near Murree, resulting in the injury of five people.
Federal Minister Amir Muqam met with an accident when he was returning to Islamabad after completing his visit to the areas in Azad Kashmir along the Line of Control (LoC).
According to the local media, the protocol vehicle of Amir Muqam’s convoy was seriously damaged in the accident, resulting in five injuries, of which two are said to be in critical condition.
According to rescue sources, the injured were immediately shifted to CMH Murree, where they are undergoing treatment.
Fortunately, Federal Minister Amir Muqam survived the accident, media reported.
Rescue operations were immediately launched after the incident and an investigation has been launched to find out the reasons for the accident.
