BAGH (Kashmir English): In Bagh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), ceremonies were held in various schools on February 27 to mark the sixth anniversary of Operation Swift Retort, where officials and citizens honoured the Pakistan Armed Forces for their decisive response to Indian aggression in 2019.
Ceremonies were held across Bagh to mark the sixth anniversary of Operation Swift Retort, with participants paying tribute to the valour and professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces. The events took place in various educational institutions, including SLS School, Tiny Seed School, and High School Kanna Mori, among others.
At the event, Deputy Mayor of the Municipal Corporation Syed Afraz Gardazi together with Extra Assistant Commissioner Syed Qamar Abbas Kazmi emphasized the critical nature of Operation Swift Retort through Pakistan’s military defense of national sovereignty.
In their address, they emphasized that Pakistan’s military borders remain invincible due to their proven operational capability in the February 27 2019 incident. “On this day, our forces crushed India’s war hysteria and delivered a resounding lesson to the enemy,” the speakers remarked.
The officials reiterated that the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s armed forces in safeguarding the country will never be forgotten by the people of Kashmir and Pakistan. “Our Air Force’s swift and decisive response to Indian aggression in 2019 filled us with pride and ensured that no country would dare look at Pakistan with ill intent in the future,” they added.
The speakers also underscored the readiness of Pakistan’s military to counter any threats, affirming that the nation’s soldiers stand prepared at all times to defend the country’s sovereignty. “Our armed forces have the skills, strength, and determination to confront any form of hostility,” they stated.
The people of Kashmir expressed their deep respect and admiration for Pakistan’s armed forces, acknowledging their role in ensuring national security. The ceremonies concluded with strong patriotic sentiments and a collective resolve to stand united in support of Pakistan’s defence.
