RAWALAKOT (Kashmir English): A married woman allegedly ended her life by hanging herself in Chota Galla, a suburban area of Rawalakot in Azad Kashmir.
Following the incident, the woman’s dead body was immediately taken into custody and shifted to Rawalakot CMH.
According to police sources, the reasons for the suicide have not yet come to light.
Upon receiving information, DSP Akmal Sharif arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation into the incident.
Family sources said that the woman’s husband drives a poultry farm vehicle and they also have children.
According to family members, the incident happened suddenly; when they saw the woman, she was hanging from a noose.
Police have started investigating the incident from various angles, considering suspicious aspects, while further facts are expected to emerge after the post-mortem report.
Deep sorrow and regret is being expressed across the area over the tragic incident.
