ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Rainfall in Islamabad has finally ended, while drizzle is expected at a few places in the federal capital today, according to the Meteorological Department.
The weather in the city is expected to remain partly cloudy and humid, with the temperature currently recorded at around 28°C. The maximum temperature is forecast to remain between 31°C and 33°C, although another forecast indicates that the mercury could rise as high as 36°C.
Meanwhile, rain is expected at isolated places in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Meteorological Department has forecast hot and humid conditions in the plains during the daytime. However, strong winds and thunderstorms accompanied by rain are likely at a few places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan during the evening and night.
Residents are advised to remain cautious as weather conditions may change in the upper parts of the country.
