KARACHI (Kashmir English): Senior meteorologist Muhammad Aslam issued a temperature warning for southern Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan. He has advised people to drink water and stay inside their homes between 10 am and 4 pm because temperatures would rise another 3 to 4 degrees after May 6.

The expert explained to a local media outlet that hospitals experience an increase in heat-related illness patients because temperatures continue to rise.

He advised people to wear light-colored clothing while staying indoors and to use head coverings for protection against direct sunlight. He recommended that people should drink water to maintain hydration during hot weather while also consuming natural fluids such as sugarcane juice.
