How will the weather be in Azad Kashmir during Eid holidays!

MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast that there is a possibility of snowfall on the mountains of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan on Eid ul-Fitr.

The Met office has predicted cloudy weather in the upper regions during the Eid days.

According to the report, a new western system is expected to enter the country on the night of March 17 that will bring rain with strong winds. Rain and thunder is expected in most parts of the country from March 18 to 20.

Rain and hailstorms are likely in various districts of Balochistan from March 17 to 20, while rain is expected in the upper regions of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and snowfall on the mountains.

Punjab weather

According to the PMD, intermittent rain is expected in Punjab and Islamabad from the night of March 17 to March 20.

Strong winds and hailstorms are also expected in Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad.

Rain is also expected in various cities of Sindh on March 18 and 19, while rain with snowfall on mountains in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan is also being expected.

There is a fear of landslides in the upper regions as tourists have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel. There is a fear of damage to crops due to strong winds and hailstorms.
