DINA, Pakistan (Kashmir English): A horrific collision between a college van and a dumper on Mangla Bypass Road in Tehsil Dina, resulted in the death of a female student and serious injury to another.
According to details, the accident occurred when a dumper was taking a U-turn and a van from Star College Mirpur collided with it.
The collision injured the female students. Upon receiving the information, rescue teams from Rescue 1122 Jhelum immediately arrived at the scene and promptly shifted the injured students to DHQ Hospital Jhelum.
According to rescue sources, the deceased 18-year-old student was identified as Hina Falak d/o Raja Maroof.
The injured 17-year-old student, Mehreen d/o Javed Iqbal, was shifted to the hospital for medical aid.
