RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Rawalpindi district administration on Monday clarified that schools will remain open as usual tomorrow, September 22, amid reports of the closure in view of the planned long marches in Islamabad.
In a statement, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Captain (R) Nadeem Nasir said that no decision has yet been made on holidays in educational institutions.
He further said that intra-city and inter-district transport services will also continue to operate as usual, while all roads connecting Rawalpindi and Islamabad are open.
The district administration further said that, keeping in view the law and order situation, citizens will be informed about the situation.
