15 Khawarij killed as security forces foil infiltration attempt in North Waziristan

Earlier, Security forces have killed 15 militants belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij in an infiltration attempt from Afghanistan in the Ghulam Khan area of North Waziristan, security sources said on Wednesday.

According to security sources, the operation was launched after intelligence indicated that a group of militants was attempting to infiltrate Pakistani territory.

The sources said security forces effectively engaged the group, resulting in the elimination of all 15 Khawarij.

After the operation against Khawarij, the clearance operation is still ongoing in the area, security sources added.

It should be noted that the Ghulam Khan area holds an important geographical position in North Waziristan, and in the past, this area has been used by Fitna Al-Khwarij to enter Pakistan.

“In such a situation, the effective action of the security forces is a clear message to the foreign elements that they will not be allowed to enter the area, gain a foothold, and sabotage the peace and order. These operations against the terrorist elements will continue without interruption,” sources added.
