NEW YORK (Kashmir English): The services of leading artificial intelligence (AI) models around the world were simultaneously suspended.
According to Down Detector, a website that monitors internet service outages, there have been reports of disruptions in the services of OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Cloud and XAI’s Grok.
According to the American news website, although service suspensions are common, the simultaneous shutdown of these three major models is unusual.
As per reports, Google Gemini’s services have also been reported to be disrupted, but the company has not officially issued any notice of service suspension.
Anthropic’s Cloud dashboard has reported disruptions in the services of models ‘Ops 4.8’ and ‘Ops 5’, while the company says that all other models have been ‘restored to baseline error rates’.
On the other hand, according to OpenAI’s dashboard, ChatGPT and Codex are currently facing ‘increased errors’.
According to XAI, Grok is also experiencing technical issues and the company is working to resolve the issue.
Microsoft Azure, which provides cloud services to these three models, is also currently experiencing an outage, and it is being speculated that this issue in Microsoft’s cloud services could be the reason for the outage of all these AI models.
