UAE updates fee for five year multiple entry visa for Pakistanis

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistani citizens may apply for a five-year multiple-entry visit visa to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in order to visit the Gulf nation for tourism purposes.

According to the Dubai Government’s official website, overseas nationals can apply for a five-year multiple-entry tourist visa starting from the date of issuance.

This visa is valid for numerous visits and does not require a local sponsor or host; however, due fees and a financial guarantee are required.

A passport that is valid for at least six months, a return ticket that ensures travel abroad or to another country, proof of current health insurance coverage in the United Arab Emirates, and bank statements showing a minimum balance of $4,000 (or its equivalent in another currency) from the six months prior to the application.

As long as the total stay does not exceed 180 days in a 12-month period, the visa allows a stay of up to 90 consecutive days, with the possibility of an additional 90-day extension.

Applicants can apply for the visa using electronic means (website/smart application). Following are the steps to proceed with your visa application.

  • Use your login or UAE Pass to access the smart services system.
  •  Find the service that needs to be applied for.
  •  If required, fill out the application details.
  • If required, pay the service charge.

A five-year multiple-entry visa to the UAE costs 660 AED. The cost of the visa may increase based on the circumstances.

  • AED 2000 is the guaranteed amount.
  • AED 20 is the warranty service charge.
  • AED 40 is the cost to pick up and return the guarantee.
