BHIMBER (Asif Iqbal): Two young men from Bhimber allegedly lost their lives while attempting to reach Europe through an illegal route in search of a better future, family sources said on Wednesday.
The deceased have been identified as Muhammad Shahbaz and Muhammad Waheed.
The deceased were trying to go to Greece and other European countries from Iran via Turkey when they allegedly came under fire, resulting in the deaths of both of them.
According to reports, their bodies are expected to be brought to Bhimber from Quetta at around 11 am on September 3, where they will be laid to rest in their native areas.
Sources further said that agents had allegedly received Rs 600,000 from each of the youths for arranging their illegal journey.
The tragic incident has left both families in deep grief and shock.
Families and citizens have called on the government and relevant institutions to take strict and effective action against elements involved in illegal human trafficking.
