QUETTA (Kashmir English): Two children were martyred and one injured in a hand grenade attack by Fitna Al-Hindustan terrorists in the Saryab Mill area of Quetta on Tuesday evening.

According to security sources, the incident reportedly occurred near Imdadia Madrassa, when unidentified individuals lobbed a hand grenade into the area, resulting in the deaths of two civilian children.

The children of the madrasa were playing in the Eidgah ground near the Kechi Beg police station in the vicinity of the madrassa.

The martyred children have been identified as Muhammad Sufyan (10) and Khalilur Rehman (11). While the injured child is named Asadullah, aged 7.

Following the attack, security forces and police rushed to the scene and launched a search operation and surveillance of the area.

Authorities have launched an investigation, while security measures in the area have been further tightened.
