HATTIAN BALA (Kashmir English): Shah Mehran Khan, dealer of Frozen Food Company Jhelum Valley, accused Magistrate Municipality Muzaffarabad Sardar Imran for a loss of more than three million rupees by stopping the vehicle of a frozen food company without conducting an investigation.
He said that while talking to a press conference at the District Press Club Hattian Bala adding that the magistrate also gave us threats.
While explaining an incident that happened a few days ago, he said that the property that was confiscated and later disposed of was not his personal property but that of his maternal uncle Ehtesham Khan.
Ehtesham Khan is the representative of well-known food companies SabrOso C and H.F.C, whose names are regularly registered and legally present in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
The regular invoices for the said goods were also with Ehtesham Khan, despite this, the Municipal Magistrate Sardar Imran disposed of the goods and thehis uncle was defamed on social media, although he had nothing to do with the goods.
According to Mehran Khan, his uncle was pressured to convince his nephew to withdraw the case, otherwise both of them would be stopped from doing business here.
The victims also alleged that Sardar Imran illegally snatched Ehtesham Khan’s mobile phone, which has been in his possession for several days now. The said phone contained important evidence against the Municipal Magistrate, which is in danger of being lost.
The victim, Shah Mehran Khan, further alleged that when he approached the esteemed court against this illegal behavior, he was threatened with serious consequences and it was claimed that the magistrate had the backing of higher state institutions and the esteemed judiciary.
Citizen Mehran Khan has demanded the Chief Justice, Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chief Secretary Azad Kashmir to provide protection to him and his family.
He took the stand that the food authority is responsible for the delivery and quality control of food, and the Municipal Magistrate should be prevented from interfering in this process. The affected person warned that if any harm is caused to him or his family, the entire responsibility will fall on the Municipal Magistrate Sardar Imran.
