ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Toyota has reduced the prices of its Corolla Cross hybrid variants following the government’s decision to lower the sales tax on locally manufactured hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) with engine capacities of up to 2,000cc.
Under Toyota’s revised price list, effective September 13, 2026, the Corolla Cross HEV X has received a price cut of Rs570,000, bringing its price down from Rs10.299 million to Rs9.729 million.
The price of the Corolla Cross HEV has been reduced by Rs550,000, with the new price set at Rs9.299 million, compared with its previous price of Rs9.849 million.

Toyota said the revised prices are based on an ex-factory Karachi basis. The latest reduction follows a change in the sales tax regime for locally manufactured HEVs.
The government had initially increased the sales tax on locally manufactured hybrid vehicles from 8.5% to 25%, effective July 1, prompting Toyota to raise the prices of both Corolla Cross hybrid variants on July 8.
Following the tax increase, the Corolla Cross HEV X rose from Rs8.935 million to Rs10.299 million, while the Corolla Cross HEV increased from Rs8.535 million to Rs9.849 million.
The government subsequently reduced the sales tax from 25% to 18% for locally manufactured HEVs with engine capacities of up to 2,000cc.
Toyota’s latest announcement brings its Corolla Cross hybrid prices down in line with the revised tax structure, following similar price adjustments by other manufacturers in Pakistan.
