LAHORE (Kashmir English): Indus Motor Company (IMC) has announced an increase in the prices of its locally assembled Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) variants following the increase in General Sales Tax (GST) on hybrid vehicles under the Federal Budget 2026-27.
According to the company, the revised ex-factory Karachi prices came into effect from July 1, 2026.
Indus Motor clarified that the revised prices apply only to new bookings made from July 1, 2026, subject to vehicle availability.
The listed prices are ex-factory Karachi and include applicable Sales Tax, Federal Excise Duty (FED), Capital Value Tax (CVT), and the NEV Levy.
However, the company said that these prices are exclusive of transportation charges, transit insurance, and applicable Advance Income Tax/Withholding Tax (WHT) and will be charged separately based on the buyer’s tax (filer/non-filer) status.

The company also noted that the announced prices are provisional, with the final price at the time of delivery remaining subject to any future changes in government taxes, duties, exchange rates, or import policies.
Conventional petrol variants of the Corolla Cross remain unaffected by the latest revision, as they were not covered by the hybrid tax concessions. The latest increase pushes the top-end Corolla Cross HEV X above the Rs10 million mark, significantly widening the price gap between hybrid and petrol models.
Changan cuts price
Earlier today, Changan Pakistan announced a price reduction for its Oshan X7 SUV lineup, making the popular crossover more affordable for customers.
In addition to the revised prices, the company is offering two years of periodic maintenance on selected Oshan X7 variants as part of a limited-time promotional package.
According to Changan, the total customer benefit includes both the price reduction and complimentary scheduled maintenance, subject to the company’s terms and conditions.
The latest move is aimed at enhancing value for customers and strengthening the Oshan X7’s position in Pakistan’s increasingly competitive SUV market. Customers are advised to contact authorized Changan dealerships for variant-wise pricing and complete offer details.
