LAHORE (Kashmir English): A local court in Lahore on Tuesday granted interim bail to popular TikToker Ali Hyderabadi in a case involving allegations of physical torture to his former wife.

The Additional Sessions Judge approved Hyderabadi’s interim bail application and restrained the police from arresting him until July 14.

The court further directed him to fully cooperate with the investigation and appear before the investigating authorities.

The case was registered on the complaint of his ex-wife, Zainab Ali, who accused him of physical assault. Fearing arrest, Ali Hyderabadi approached the sessions court seeking interim pre-arrest bail, which was granted. The court also ordered all parties to appear at the next hearing.

The controversy gained widespread attention after videos circulated on social media regarding Ali Hyderabadi’s divorce from his wife.

After this, his wife Zainab Ali released an emotional video message, in which she was seen in a dazed state while her hands were also bandaged.

Zainab alleged that she had been facing physical violence and mental torture for the last three years.

She also appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for help in this matter.

She alleged that Hyderabadi had threatened her several times during and after their relationship, including threats to have her killed, claiming he had influential connections.

On the other hand, Ali Hyderabadi, holding the Holy Quran in his hand, rejected all the allegations made against him and said that he had released the video for clarification, and the allegations made against him were baseless.

Later, Zainab Ali rejected her husband’s position in another video, claiming that the two had already divorced. She also alleged that Ali Hyderabadi lures different girls into his trap to gain fame and remarry.
