GUJRAT (Kashmir English): Three teenaged siblings were killed after roof of a house collapsed in Karyanwala Burwala locality here due to heavy rainfall, according to Rescue 1122.
They said the wooden roof of a room caved in, trapping the children under the debris.
Rescue teams reached the scene, pulled the children from the rubble and shifted them to a nearby hospital. However, all three siblings were pronounced dead.
Falak Sher (13), Ali (15) and Iman (15) children of one Aslam, were killed in the incident.
Rescue officials have urged the people to avoid staying in unsafe buildings during the ongoing monsoon season and take precautionary measures to prevent such incidents.
