MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The nomination process for the upcoming Supreme Court Bar Association elections has concluded, with prominent lawyers filing papers for key positions and electoral activity gaining momentum.
For the crucial post of President, Advocate Fayyaz Haider Nawabi and Advocate Tabassum Sadiq, both from Mirpur, have submitted their nomination papers.
Advocate Malik Qadeer Awan, also from Mirpur, has filed nomination papers for the position of Vice President. The nomination process for other key offices has also been completed. For the post of General Secretary, Muzaffarabad-based lawyers Advocate Shahzad Shafiq Awan and Advocate Sardar Shaukat Ali have submitted their nomination papers.
Meanwhile, Advocate Nisar Ali Mughal is contesting for Joint Secretary, while Advocate Khawaja Amir Rasool Butt has filed nomination papers for Finance Secretary.
Advocate Raja Atiq-ur-Rehman has submitted nomination papers for Publicity Secretary, while Advocate Ms. Kausar Parveen is contesting for the post of Library Secretary.
With the nomination process now concluded, electoral activities for the Supreme Court Bar Association elections are expected to intensify ahead of the polling process.
