ISLAMABAD: Federal Education Minister Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Wednesday inaugurated the state-of-the-art Customer Care Desk (CCD) at the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) to expedite document verification.

The recently introduced CCD Portal, created by IBCC, will facilitate students from across the country to confirm their academic records online through a customer support system.

Executive Director IBCC Ghulam Ali said that students can now monitor the status of their certificate verification via a QR code system.

“The convenience of the public is our prime concern,” said Mallah, noting that the portal has been undergoing beta testing for six months and is now open to the public in full.

The service also extends to Pakistani students and parents living abroad. Mallah confirmed that requests sent to CCD by email will be responded to within 24 hours, providing a convenient solution for those who cannot visit personally.

The students of any part of the country can now file complaints or seek services for their educational documents 24/7 through the portal. The CCD has worked to decrease the processing duration as well as facilitate better communication between students and IBCC.

Minister Siddiqui praised the initiative as a step in the direction of digitizing education services and bringing bureaucratic procedures more within reach and transparency to students.
