KARACHI (Kashmir English): The Sindh government has announced a public holiday for the Hindu community across the province on October 20 in celebration of the Holi festival.
According to an official notification issued on Friday, October 20 will be observed as a public holiday for members of the Hindu community, allowing them to celebrate the festival with traditional joy and enthusiasm.

The notification said the public holiday will apply to both government and non-government institutions in Sindh, ensuring that members of the Hindu community in all sectors fully enjoy the festivities.
All administrative departments and organizations have been directed to implement the holiday in accordance with the issued notification.
“The provincial government extends warm wishes to the Hindu community on the occasion of Holi,” the statement added.
