BAGH (Kashmir English): A school vehicle carrying children from a village near Peel to Maloot to school met with a sudden accident, injuring several children.
According to rescue sources, the injured children were immediately shifted to BHU Maloot, while some children have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Bagh for further treatment.
According to initial reports, the condition of all the injured children is said to be out of danger. The reasons for the accident have not yet been revealed, and the authorities are investigating.
Earlier, six members of the same family were injured after their vehicle met with an accident at Pir Chinasi Road near Mera Tanolian in Muzaffarabad on Saturday.
Rescue 1122 Muzaffarabad immediately reached the spot as soon as it was informed, and shifted the injured to CMH Muzaffarabad.
According to initial information, the injured included two men and four women. The affected tourists are said to be from Karachi.
The vehicle owner has been identified as Captain (R) Waqar Hussain Zaidi, a resident of Karachi.
The other five injured include Waqar’s wife, Sahar Bano, his son Syed Rehan, and three daughters, Umm Farwa, Baneen Fatima, and Masooma Fatima.
