TEHRAN (Kashmir English): At least seven Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commanders were martyred in the US and Israeli attacks on Iran, according to the Iranian news agency.
The news agency reported that the martyred seven IRGC commanders included Major General Shaheed Mohammad Shirazi, who was the head of the office of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
It was further reported that Rear General Shaheed Saleh Asadi, who was the deputy chief of intelligence in the General Staff of the Armed Forces, was also martyred in these attacks.
Revolutionary Guards Headquarters destroyed
The US has claimed to have destroyed the headquarters of the Revolutionary Guards.
A statement was issued by the US Central Command on X, which said that more than 1,000 targets were hit in Iran, and large-scale air strikes are underway in Iran.

The US Central Command says that the targets include the headquarters of the Revolutionary Guards. The headquarters of the IRGC Aerospace Forces was also targeted.
According to the US Central Command, Iranian ballistic missile sites and Iranian naval vessels were also attacked.
