MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir Digital): The local authorities have beefed up security at the Prime Minister Secretariat Azad Kashmir in Muzaffarabad amid a security threat.
According to sources, FC personnel have been deployed along with the police for the security of a highly sensitive area, which houses several government buildings, including the AJK Legislative Assembly and the Prime Minister’s Office.
The authorities have banned the entry of private vehicles into the Secretariat.
According to sources, today, the Holy Quran will be completed in Taraweeh prayers at the Secretariat Mosque on Shab-e-Qadr, in which hundreds of people will participate, which can create an untoward situation in the area.
It should be remembered that the Prime Minister’s Secretariat also houses the IGP Office, Chief Secretary Office, Ministers Block, and other important offices.
