QUETTA (Kashmir English): In a major display of vigilance and operational preparedness, Pakistani security forces successfully thwarted a series of coordinated attacks by “Fitna Al Hindustan” (FAH) across multiple locations in Balochistan.

According to a security update, the terrorists attempted to disrupt peace by launching simultaneous, targeted actions against security checkpoints and law enforcement posts.

However, alert troops and law enforcement agencies immediately retaliated, forcing the terrorists to flee in all instances with no losses reported to security forces or law enforcement personnel during the immediate incidents.

Balochistan thwarted attacks

In Nosar, Quetta, a police post came under fire. Police personnel on site retaliated immediately, thwarting the assault.

In Mianghundi, FAH terrorists fired UBGLs and distant fire. Security forces responded swiftly, forcing the terrorists to abandon their positions.

At Western Bypass, Quetta, an attempt to target a police patrol with a UBGL was averted by vigilant officers.

In Isplinji, Mastung, an FC post was targeted with distant fire, which was immediately retaliated by the post security.

Similarly, in Lattar, Kharan, a fire raid on an Lattar FC post was efficiently thwarted by the security forces.

Following these failed attempts, security forces are on high alert, and conducting clearance operations in the affected areas.

The security forces of Pakistan have reaffirmed their resolve to combat terrorism in all its forms, stating they are fully ready to neutralize any such “evil designs” and protect the public.
