LAHORE (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday announced the schedule for the Sri Lanka and England men’s tour, a bilateral and tri-series scheduled to be held from October 9 to November 21.
The press release stated that Sri Lanka will arrive on October 4 to feature in a three-match T20I series, an ODI tri-series involving England, and a two-match Test series.
As per the schedule, all matches of the T20I series will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on October 9, 11, and 13.
Following the T20I series, England will arrive in Pakistan for a seven-match ODI tri-series, scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from October 18 to 31.
In the first phase of the tri-series, the teams will face each other once at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on October 18, 20, and 22. Then, all three sides will move to Lahore, where Pakistan will face England on October 25 and Sri Lanka on October 27 at Gaddafi Stadium.
Sri Lanka and England will face each other in the sixth match of the tournament on October 29, while the top two sides will meet in the final at the same venue on October 31.
After the conclusion of the tri-series, Sri Lanka will play a three-day warm-up match in Islamabad from November 4 to 6. Pakistan and Sri Lanka will then compete in a two-match Test series, which will be part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27.
The first Test will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi from 9 to 13 November, while the second Test will take place at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from 17 to 21 November.
