MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): A very important meeting of the officers of the Supreme Court was held in Committee Room No. 1 under the chairmanship of Registrar Supreme Court Mazhar Iqbal to review the rescheduling of Golden Jubilee celebrations.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Registrar Supreme Court Syed Faizan Haider, Secretary to Chief Justice Khawaja Muhammad Shaukat, Assistant Registrar Nisar Shaheen, Staff Officer Taimur Mumtaz, Protocol Officer Taimur Durrani, and other officers.
Important consultations were held in the meeting regarding the reorganization and arrangements for the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the establishment of the Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and in this regard, the necessary arrangements were reviewed for the reorganization of the proposed events and the Judicial Conference by September 2025.
Earlier, on May 10, 2025, the Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir completed 50 years of its establishment and on this occasion, the Golden Jubilee celebrations and Judicial Conference were to be held from May 8 to 10, 2025 and the program had been finalized, but because of the extraordinary situation arising due to Indian aggression against Pakistan from May 6 to 10, the Golden Jubilee celebrations were postponed.
It was decided in the meeting that the final dates for the reorganization of the Golden Jubilee celebrations and Judicial Conference will be announced very soon.
