MIRPUR (Kashmir English): Pakistan Army will start recruitment process at two centres in Mirpur today (Tuesday).
One centre has been set up at Government Pilot High School Jatlan, Tehsil Mirpur where the recruitment process will continue for today (Tuesday, July 1, 2025), and on Wednesday, July 2, Pakistan Army team will be at Raja Muhammad Najeeb Government Boys Degree College Islamgarh for the same purpose.
Army Selection and Recruitment teams will conduct test and interviews of the candidates at 8 AM.
Interested candidates from Mirpur district have been asked to appear at the respective centers with their credentials for recruitment and participate in the test/ interview.
Pakistan Army recruitment criteria
For Sepoy (General Duty), the educational qualification is Matric pass, height 5 feet 6 inches, and age limit 17.5 years to 23 years, while for graduate or higher educated candidates, a one-year relaxation in the upper age limit has been given.
Whereas for the dependents of those injured during war/ martyrs, a relaxation of up to 2 years in the upper age limit has been granted.
Interested candidates have been asked to bring their computerized identity card, original educational certificates with two attested photocopies, 4 passport-size photographs, domicile, and original and attested copies of the Resident of Jammu and Kashmir certificate.
In addition, candidates have been advised to wear sports shoes for the physical test and bring a black marker and a blue pen for the test.
