ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Receipt of Hajj applications for remaining seats under the government scheme will continue until August 16, according to the Spokesperson of the ministry.
He said receipt of Hajj applications will be immediately stopped once available seats are filled.
Long and short Hajj package
The government Hajj scheme offers both a 40-day long Hajj and a 25-day short Hajj package.
It is mandatory to submit the first installment of Rs500,000 or Rs550,000 along with the application, according to the package.
Spokesperson for the ministry of Religious Affairs said that the second installment of Hajj dues will be collected from November 1.
Pakistani passport holders residing abroad are also eligible to submit applications, he added.
