RAWALAKOT (Kashmir English): Miscreants of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) have resorted to new tactics after their failed protests, and have kidnapped two police officials who were on leave, in Rawalakot.
According to sources, the kidnapped police officials include Azad Kashmir Police Constable Sagheer and Constable Ishtiaq.
Rawalakot sit-in
It should be remembered that a trend was being run on social media by the banned Awami Action Committee that if any policeman is seen around the Rawalakot sit-in, arrest them, this is the order of Khawaja Mehran, a core member of the banned Action Committee.
The banned Awami Action Committee was involved in such activities before as well.
Police officials were subjected to violence several times in the name of protest, now the state has decided that the miscreants will be dealt with strictly.
It should also be remembered that on July 5, the Joint Awami Action Committee has given a call for a state-wide protest.
Yesterday at the time of Fajr prayers, the banned Awami Action Committee spread false propaganda about firing, which they later denied themselves saying no one was injured, while the police also said that no such incident took place.
Sources said that the banned Awami Action Committee sees July 5 call failing, due to which the miscreants are trying to make some incident happen.
