HATTIAN BALA (Kashmir English): To mark the Black Day on October 27, a large protest rally was held in Hattian Bala, the headquarters of the Jhelum Valley district, to condemn Indian atrocities in Kashmir.
The grand rally started from Pul Bazaar and ended at the District Press Club, Hattian Bala. The rally was led by Deputy Commissioner Jhelum Valley Beshan Jaral Sahiba and SP Jhelum Valley Syed Abbas Ali Shah.
On this occasion, the participants raised strong slogans against India and expressed full solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir.
A large number of traders, civil society, teachers, government officers, and students participated in the rally.
The participants held black flags, banners, and placards on which slogans were written for the freedom of Kashmir and against Indian atrocities.
At the end of the Hattian Bala rally, the speakers called on the international community to take notice of the serious human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and play a role in ensuring the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.
