LAHORE (Kashmir English): The Lahore session court set the date for YouTuber Rajab Butt and his associates to face charges in their alleged gang rape case.
The accused received copies of the challan from Additional Sessions Judge Yasir Arfat, who then chose a date to set the charges against them. The court has summoned Rajab Butt together with his co-defendants, Jahangir Jawad Ali and Abdur Rehman, to attend charge-framing hearings, which will take place on April 22.
The petitioner claimed that the Nawab Town police had registered the case based on incorrect facts and requested the court to confirm interim bail.
The alleged victim stated that the accused had lured her to their home and subjected her to sexual assault.
Rajab Butt’s Son ‘Kivan’ face revealed
On the other hand, a video featuring Rajab’s son Kivan Sultan went viral on social media.
The video received strong criticism from his wife Eman Fatima, who established himself as a public figure. Eman Fatima used her Instagram story to explain that their son appeared in a viral video, which showed his face for the first time, but the video created an emotional moment that failed to show actual events.
She clarified that the video captured a family moment, which was not spontaneous because it had been planned and recorded before someone distributed it on social media.
She claimed that Rajab Butt used his friends and relatives to create videos that included their son without permission from his parents.
Eman Fatima declared that their child needed special protection because his involvement in the video took place without their actual consent. She stated that people present family moments as a public display because they want to attract online viewers.
