ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain-wind/thunderstorms with snowfall over the hills in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Northern Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Upper Punjab on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country is expected to experience partly cloudy weather.
Cloudy weather with rain/thunderstorms and snowfall over the hills is expected in various parts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Islamabad and surrounding areas are likely to experience cloudy weather with rain-wind/thunderstorms, with a 40% probability of precipitation.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, isolated wind/thunderstorms with snowfall over the hills is expected in Shangla, Battagram, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Mardan, Buner, Nowshera, Swabi, Peshawar, Kohat, Karak, Bannu, Bajaur, Mohmand, Kurram, Khyber, and Waziristan.
In Punjab, mostly dry and partly cloudy weather is expected, except for Rawalpindi, Attock, Narowal, Lahore, Mianwali, Khushab, Jhelum, Chakwal, Mandi Bahauddin, Sargodha, Gujrat, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, and Sheikhupura, where rain-wind/thunderstorms are likely.
Murree an Galliyat areas are expected to experience cloudy weather with chances of rain and light snowfall.
Sindh will observe dry conditions across most districts, with partly cloudy skies expected in the upper parts of the province.
In Balochistan, dry weather is forecast for most districts, while Quetta, Chaman, , Zhob, Qila Saifullah, Ziarat, and Musakhel may experience light rain-wind/thunderstorms.

During the past 24 hours, cold and partly cloudy conditions prevailed across most parts of the country, with rain-wind/thunderstorms and light snowfall occurring in Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and the Potohar region.
