NEW YORK (Kashmir English): After the thrilling round of 16 matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026, the 8 teams of the quarter-final stage have emerged, including France, Morocco, Norway, England, Spain, Belgium, Argentina and Switzerland.

Now each team is only 3 victories away from becoming world champions, while the quarter-final matches to be held in the next few days will determine which 4 teams will reach the semi-finals.

The teams that have reached the quarter-finals include defending champions Argentina, European powers France and Spain, strong team Belgium, Norway, England, Switzerland, and the African representative Morocco.

Full schedule of the Quarter-Finals

The quarter-finals will begin in the United States on July 9 and Pakistan time on July 10 and there will be a competition between 8 teams for a trophy, out of which only 4 teams will qualify for the next stage, the semi-finals, while 4 teams will return home empty-handed.

France vs Morocco

The first quarter-final of the World Cup will be played on Friday, July 10 at 1:00 PM Pakistan time at the Boston Stadium, which will be between the undefeated and three-time world champion team France and Morocco in the current tournament.

Spain vs Belgium

The second quarter-final will be between the former world champion and the team that defeated Ronaldo’s team Portugal in the pre-quarter-finals, Spain, and Belgium, which will be held in Los Angeles at 12:00 PM Pakistan time on July 11.

Norway vs England

The third quarter-final will see Norway, who pulled off the biggest upset of the 2026 FIFA World Cup by defeating five-time world champions Brazil in the Round of 16, take on former world champions England. The match will be played at Miami Stadium on July 12 at 2:00 PM (Pakistan time).

Argentina vs Switzerland

The fourth quarter-final will see three-time world champions and defending champions Argentina take on Colombia at Kansas Stadium on July 12 at 6:00 AM (Pakistan time).

The winners of all four matches will book a place in the Final Four, while the losers will return home.

Semi-finals

The semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup will be played on July 15 and 16 in Dallas and Atlanta, respectively. The winners of France and Morocco will face the winners of Spain and Belgium in the semi-finals, while the winners of Norway and England will face the winners of Argentina and Switzerland.

The tournament’s biggest showdown, the final match to crown the champion, will be played on the same day, July 19, at the New Jersey Stadium in New York.
