LAHORE (Kashmir English): The Punjab Green Tractor Scheme 2026, to expand subsidized tractor provisions to farmers across the province, is going to enter the third phase.
In the third phase, 10,000 green tractors with 50 to 65 horsepower will be given by the government.
The third phase is meant to support farmers on a continuous basis with the aim of strengthening agricultural productivity in the region.
The Punjab Agriculture Department has announced that the program will start receiving applications for the Green Tractor Scheme from January 6, 2026.

The deadline for application submission of the Punjab Green Tractor Scheme 2026 is January 20, 2026.
The government is yet to announce a date for the third phase draw of the Green Tractor Scheme 2026.
In the previous phase, more than 734,000 farmers applied for the program, of which 282,000 met the qualifications for the lottery.
From those, 9,500 were selected to receive the tractors.
Significantly, 98% of applicants preferred domestically assembled tractors, and only 2% applied for the large imported tractor models.
