LAHORE (Kashmir English): All nine educational boards of Punjab have officially reannounced the schedule for the upcoming Matric and Intermediate examinations, rescheduling them for the holy month of Ramadan.
According to a circular, the Matric exams will now begin on March 27 instead of March 3, and the results are expected to be announced on August 6.
Similarly, the annual Intermediate examinations will start from May 20, while the results will be declared on September 23.
The results for Class 9 will be announced on September 2, and First Year (Part-I) results will be released on August 22.
For students who miss the regular exams, the Matric supplementary exams will begin on October 6, with results expected on December 8. The Intermediate supplementary exams will start on November 3, and their results will be announced on January 12, 2027.
Education officials said the revised schedule aims to ensure a smooth process and give students a fair chance to prepare, keeping everyone on the same page.
