ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The removal of containers placed on roads across Islamabad for more than three weeks due to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) planned long march has begun following directives from the Inspector General of Police (IGP).

According to details, the IGP has instructed authorities to ensure that all containers are removed from roads by this evening, restoring normal traffic flow across the federal capital.

The containers had remained in place for over three weeks, causing inconvenience to commuters and affecting routine movement in various parts of the city.

The relevant authorities have been directed to complete the removal process within the stipulated timeframe and ensure that no containers remain on any road by evening.
