MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has completed the scrutiny of 34,000 applications to provide loans to the public at their doorsteps under the interest-free loan scheme of the Azad Kashmir government.
These application forms/files have been provided to 92 branches of the Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir across the state.
Applicants have been directed to contact the relevant branch and complete the necessary requirements for obtaining loans.
Special cell for loan issuance
The bank has established a special cell at the Head Office under the supervision of the Credit Management Division.
According to the bank spokesperson, the interest-free loan scheme is being implemented through the Azad Kashmir Small Industries Corporation.
The bank completed the scrutiny process to issue accounts and disburse funds as a facilitating financial institution, in accordance with government directives.
The Small Industries Corporation had provided 34,000 application forms to the bank in phases until the 20th of Ramadan. The scrutiny process began immediately upon receipt of the forms.
For the convenience of the public, timely provision of loans will be ensured in the relevant branches so that loans are available to the public at their doorsteps.
The Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has reiterated its commitment to transparency, honesty, and strict adherence to government policy.
