RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): President Muslim Conference and former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, has succeeded in persuading some important Joint Action Committee leaders to join Muslim Conference.
He held an important meeting with Joint Action Committee leaders Raja Muhammad Ilyas Khan, Sardar Khurshid Abbasi, Sardar Maqsood Abbasi, and Sardar Zahid Abbasi.
Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan congratulated them on their formal joining the Muslim Conference.
Raja Arsalan and Ghulam Nabi (aka Desi Professor), who resigned from the Action Committee and joined the Muslim Conference, assured the party president of their full cooperation for success in the elections.
Also present on this occasion were Raja Yasin Luqman, Sardar Abid Razzaq, Raja Sarfaraz Sharif, and others.
Muslim Conference
Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan said that the Muslim Conference is the only political party that is not only the majority party of Kashmiris but also the advocate of the Kashmir freedom movement and the movement for the completion of Pakistan.
He said the Muslim Conference is not a party of any one community or tribe; it is a bouquet of all communities. “The Muslim Conference is the representative party of Kashmiris.”
“Workers should maintain unity in their ranks. The Muslim Conference has emerged from difficult circumstances, and the time is not far when the Muslim Conference will once again rise across the state.”
Sardar said the people of the state are still following the ideas of Mujahid-e-Awal Sardar Muhammad Abdul Qayyum Khan.
He further added that the roots of the state’s foremost party, the Muslim Conference, are among the people, and those who tried to eliminate the Muslim Conference have always been disappointed.
He said that the Muslim Conference is the representative party of Azad Kashmir and has always played a role in the welfare and development of public rights.
